MNU Shuts Out CMU

Three goals in the opening 20 minutes led to MNU's 5th 4-0 victory of the season and 9th win overall vs. Central Methodist on Saturday. Misty Olsen scored the 1st and assisted the 2nd to give MNU a 2-0 lead before 10 minutes had passed, and Kalyn Pfaff's breakaway goal in the 22nd minute made it 3-0 at halftime. Kelli Reid's corner connected with Kara Quinn's head for a textbook goal in the 48th minute, and the Pioneers cruised to the finish. Brenna Oddo and Hayley Fife combined for the shutout.

MNU is 9-1-2 (1-0-1 HAAC). The next game is Tuesday at home vs. #25 Baker (5-3-4, 1-0-1) at 12:30.
