Box Score Another balanced scoring effort and two near double doubles keyed a 65-50 Pioneer victory over Evangel on Thursday. Five Pioneers recorded at least 9 points as MNU remained tied atop the HAAC with Benedictine.
Evangel started hot and took an early 11-4 lead. The Pioneer deficit was 8 midway through the half when MNU went on a 13-2 run to take a 3-point lead. After halftime the Pioneers increased the lead to 12 before Evangel went on a 7-0 run to get back in the game. MNU took back control and led by double digits down the stretch.

Daria Sprew had 9 points, 11 rebounds (7 offensive) and 2 steals.
