Stats | The Pioneers advanced to their second consecutive National Tournament with a 3-1 victory over Graceland on Saturday. MNU dominated the first two sets and won by a combined score of 50-25. Graceland turned the tables in the third set, however, using a 10-point service run to claim a 25-16 victory. The Pioneers righted the ship in the fourth set, leading throughout and winning 25-18.
Molly Brewster led the way with 13 kills, 14 digs, and 2 aces.
Linjun Ji recorded 10 kills, 11 digs, and 2 aces.
Megan Hayes had 8 kills and 6 blocks. And
Kimmie Kreeger (20) and
Taryn Salum (24) split the assists.
The Pioneers are 24-4. The next match is the Opening Round of the NAIA National Tournament. MNU hosts St. Thomas-Houston (19-16) on Saturday at 6:00. The winner will advance to the final site in Sioux City, IA.
