Box Score 2 In the women's game, three Pioneers reached double figures as MNU maintained their spot atop the HAAC. The Pioneers won 62-55 despite shooting just 32% and committing 15 turnovers. They were able to hold the Crusaders to 36% shooting and force 12 turnovers.
Kassidy Ritchel led the offense with 14 points and 6 rebounds.
Daria Sprew was 9-10 from the line while collecting 13 points and 11 rebounds for her second consecutive double double.
Rachel Boan added 10 points. And
Kiley Herold had 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 blocks.

In the men's game, five players reached double figures in a huge 86-85 road victory over #17 Evangel. The two top teams in the conference battled in a tight contest until the Pioneers finally got some breathing room with 5 minutes to play. MNU led by 10 and tried to run out the clock, but Evangel made stops and were able to score and went on a 12-1 run to take a 1-point lead in the final minute. The Pioneers split a pair of free throws to tie the game, then Evangel did the same to take a 1-point lead with 15 seconds left. With 8 seconds left,
Rustin Dowd got the ball and drove through 3 Crusaders to get to the basket. The shot didn't fall but he was able to draw a foul. The junior burried both free throws to give the Pioneers a 1-point lead with 1.4 seconds left. Evangel failed to get off a shot and MNU survived to take the top spot in the HAAC.
Luke Thomas had 17 points and 11 rebounds for his 4th straight double double.
Conner Langrehr shot 7-13 for 17 points.

Nick Syrie had 13 assists with just 1 turnover to go along with 4 points and 4 rebounds.
