The Pioneers evened their National Tournament record and closed the historic 2011 season with a 3-1 victory over #15 Missouri Baptist on Thursday. The Pioneers took the first 2 sets 25-23 and 25-22 before dropping the third set 23-25. But MNU bounced back and dominated the fourth set 25-17 to take the match and move their tourney record to 2-2.
Linjun Ji had a season-high 18 kills. She also recorded 13 digs.
Denise Dix had 9 kills and 4 blocks.
Anna Nostrant had 8 kills and 5 blocks.
Laura Hamblin had 15 digs. And
