Kiley Herold and
Rachel Boan reached double figures in MNU's 74-65 victory over NAIA D2 #4-ranked Kansas Wesleyan on Friday. The first half was tight as neither team took more than a 4-point lead. The Pioneers led 31-29 at halftime, and were finally able to open up a significant lead after going on a 9-4 run midway through the second half. The 3-possession lead was maintained throughout the rest of the game, and MNU improved to 3-2.
Herold led all scorers with 16 points and pulled down 9 rebounds. And
Rachel Boan had 11 points and 6 assists.
MNU is 3-2. The next game is Saturday at home vs. Southwestern (2-3) at 3:00 PM.

Men's Basketball
MNU scored 111 points on 11/11/11 and four Pioneers reached double figures in MNU's 111-79 victory over Central Bible College on Friday. MNU began the game on a 17-5 run and kept running until the final buzzer. Several similar runs by the Pioneers eventually pushed the lead to 30+ as MNU cruised to victory.
Rustin Dowd scored 23 points on 9-11 shooting (including 5-6 from three) with 3 assists and 2 steals.
Luke Thomas recorded a double double off the bench with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Conner Langrehr 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Lukas Weigel had 14 points.
Jacob French had 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks. And
Nick Syrie had 8 points and 6 assists.
The Pioneers are 3-1. The next game is Saturday at home vs. Friends (1-4) at 5:00 PM.
