Pioneers End Season with Loss at Evangel

The Pioneers ended their season with a 66-45 loss at Evangel in the HAAC Conference Tournament on Saturday. MNU started the game with a 4-0 lead, but Evangel quickly responded with a 14-0 run to take a 10-point lead. Kristin Malone ended the run with a 3-pointer, but the Pioneers never got closer. Evangel pushed the lead to 16 points at halftime and kept a double-digit lead for the rest of the game.

Bethany Rexroth closed her extraordinary season with 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks. The senior surpassed 1,000 career points in the game Thursday, and finishes with 1,030.
