Rexroth Dominant in Pioneer Victory

Bethany Rexroth set career highs in points (43), rebounds (16), and blocks (9) as she led the Pioneers in an 81-77 victory over Graceland on Thursday. She was 1 block away from a triple-double as she dominated the paint, shooting 75% from the floor. Her 43 points were the most since Jenna Matson's 41 in 2007, and her 21 field goals were just 5 away from the NAIA single-game record.

MNU found themselves trailing by 8 points after 10 minutes of play, but a 19-3 run (14 from Rexroth) over the next 6 minutes put the Pioneers back in control. MNU maintained a 5-7 point lead for most of the game, but were never able to pull away from the Yellowjackets. The 2-possession lead was maintained in the final minutes, and MNU was able to secure Coach Olin's 496th career victory.
