Pioneers Close Season with Loss to Benedictine

The MNU Women's Soccer season came to a close with a 2-1 loss to Benedictine on Tuesday. The Ravens jumped out early with several shots on goal in the opening minutes. A corner kick found its way into the net and MNU trailed 1-0 early. Benedictine didn't let up and kept the ball on their attacking side of the field for most of the game. Another BC goal in the second half increased the lead, and the Pioneers could not come back. Alyssa Howard scored late in the second half, but MNU could not create any more chances and lost 2-1.

The Pioneers finish 9-9 (3-6 HAAC).
