Women's Soccer Goes 1-1

The Pioneers picked up a win vs. Central Christian but fell to conference-leading Graceland this week. Jamie Hertling was the star vs. Central Christian as she recorded 2 goals and 1 assist in the 3-0 victory. Emily Bean scored the other goal off the bench as MNU completely dominated play. Becca Skillman recorded a shutout and did not face a shot on goal.

On Saturday the Pioneers hosted #6 Graceland and the Yellowjackets lived up to their ranking. The Pioneers managed just 4 shots and 1 shot on goal as Graceland dominated play with 16 shots (8 SOG) and 2 goals.

The Pioneers are 8-7 (2-4 HAAC). The next game is Wednesday the 27th at Avila (10-5, 3-3) at 6:00 PM. The game will be played at Swope Park, which is the KC Wizards training facility.
