MidAmerica Nazarene University's women's golf team faced a challenging weekend at the Virginia McCoy Fall Invitational, finishing 7th in the tournament held at The National Golf Club of Kansas City. The Pioneers posted a team total of +147 over the two rounds, contending with a tough course and stiff competition from other schools.
Leading the way for MidAmerica Nazarene was Amy Fusedale, who finished 8th individually with a total score of +16. Fusedale showed consistency, carding a +9 in the first round and improving slightly with a +7 in the second. Her strong performance placed her among the top competitors of the event, standing out as the team's best individual effort.
Behind Fusedale, Maeva Fardel turned in a solid effort, finishing tied for 19th with a total of +27. Fardel posted scores of +13 in the first round and +14 in the second. Despite the difficult conditions, Fardel managed to keep pace with the competition and contribute valuable points for the team.
Adrianna Adams finished tied for 32nd at +42, with rounds of +21 in both rounds. Laurel Repka rounded out the team, finishing 44th with a total score of +62.
The next tournament is October 14-15 at Haskell in Lawrence, Kan.
