Meritorious Service - Rick FieldsAssistant Athletics Director & Facilities Manager
Rick Fields has been an assistant football coach since the program's inception in 1978. The Pioneers are 205-153-2 in his time and have reached the playoffs 8 times. He was also the Baseball head coach from 1980-1998. He has served as Facilities Manager since 2001. Rick has quietly gone about serving the students at MNU never desiring to be noticed. Those that know him well will attest to the fact that if there is a spotlight being shown somewhere, Rick will be the one looking for ways to avoid that light. His service is always beyond the call of duty and is done with the "Rick grin" that we all enjoy and can't help but return with a smile of our own. He epitomizes servant leadership and carefully has modeled it for some 35 years. We look forward to the next 35, because it wouldn't be MNU Athletics without his presence and his work ethic.
These inductees will be honored as part of Homecoming weekend: Friday, October 11 in the Bell Cultural Events Center.
