Volleyball Sweeps Haskell

The Pioneers were not threatened in their 3-0 sweep of Haskell Indian Nations University on Thursday. Set one was easily handled 25-15. "We've struggled with the first game several times," said Coach Banis. "It was nice to play well right from the start." Set two was a bit closer at 25-20, but MNU was in control the whole game. The third set was a laugher at 25-13, and MNU moved to 13-9 on the season.
Megan Holick led the way with 10 kills and 6 blocks. Codi Lawrence and Sharaeah Bullock combined for 30 assists. And Laura Hamblin had 17 digs.
The game game for the Pioneers is vs. Friends University at the Ottawa Tri on Saturday at 3:00. They will follow that with a match vs. Ottawa at 5:00.
